Why does the indicator of TC20 V3 flash purple and why is the light not charged normally?

The light head is loosened to disconnect from the battery inside to avoid any accidental activation in shipping for safety reasons. Please screw down the tail cap to connect it well to the battery before charging.

Why does the TC20 V3 downshift to a lower mode after being used for a while under the higher mode?

The flashlight will accumulate a lot of heat when used at high output levels for extended periods. When the light reaches a temperature of 60°C or above, the light will automatically step down a few lumens to reduce the temperature.

Is the TC20 V3 a good choice for daily use?

To protect the battery, driver circuit, and LED, we do not recommend running the light at max mode for more than ten minutes.

Why does the TC20 V3 get super hot real quick?

It will produce much heat while working, especially at high modes. The flashlight dissipates heat through the shell. If the light becomes too hot to hold at the hottest area, then you must turn down the level or OFF for the light to cool down.
